This group project was created as a group assignment by Big Six Media for the Digital Marketing Metrics and Analytics module delivered by Julian Callan.
Big 6 Media group was formed in February 2021 by six eager digital marketers who have a passion for Health & Wellness. As part of our project for Julian, we were asked to set up a blog account, track the website via Google Analytics and promote our blogs through social media over a ten week period.
We created weekly blog posts with the idea of targeting the Health & Wellness industry, offering tips and ideas around digital marketing. We wanted to try to attract not only gyms but also fitness & wellness brands which is how we developed our audience and also which social media platform we wanted to use to promote our blog.
Our main target audience is the corporate Health & Wellness sector. This meant we were after the fitness & health brands, gym owners/partners who might find our blogs useful in their marketing strategies. The personas we focused on were 25 – 40 year old male gym users based in Ireland and female professional business owners aged 30-45 based in Ireland. We chose these as they are a large cross section in this sector with generally the highest online activity.
We have developed our blog as an information page for this particular sector where we offer them our tips and insights into how using digital marketing will benefit their business.
